My Dad - Kneeling Before Jesus - May 16, 2009



It's hard to believe that a "Larger Than Life" man is no longer here with us in this life. Anyone who has ever met Bob Anderson will never forget him. He made an impression wherever he went. But even more than that - he made an impression in the Kingdom of Heaven! There will many who will kneel and are already kneeling before the Lord because my dad was willing to be used in any given situation. Years of various injuries brought much pain and he would be discouraged by his limitations. But he continued to preach and counsel and love - inspite of it all. Was he perfect? By no means - but he was faithful. Faithful to God, wife and family. Faithful to his passion for Christ in preaching, counseling and proclaiming His name. Though physically tired and emotionally discouraged, his walk with the Lord never wavered and he preached until the day he died, literally! Praise the Lord for such a man! Praise the Lord that he was MY dad! May my light shine just as bright in this world - serving my Abba Father! Thank you dad - I will miss you here, but will see you someday, whole, pain-free, and kneeling before Jesus!
