Emily was baptized!!
Emily was baptized 2 weeks ago and we couldn't be prouder. Her desire to share with others that she loves the Lord and desires to obey and follow Him is a jblessing and a joy for us. We praise God for her sweet spirit and for her faith that Jesus is the Son of God, that his death on the cross and resurrection from the grave is the gift of eternal salvation for all who will believe.
We love you Emily!!
After church - we went to Dave's folks house for a baptism "party". His mom made a cake in the shape of a cross...
Grandma and Grandpa gave her a "big girl" Bible with a cover....
And Aunt Angi gave her a gold cross necklace
It was a special day!!

We are so thankful that you know Jesus as your Savior, Emily, and that you have shown to "the world" that you belong to Him! You are a wonderful testimony to others and we pray for you every day as you live out your faith in front of your friends. We love you, Emily!
Awesome, Emily!!! I wish we could have been there in person to give you a hug, but we'll make up for it this summer! Uncle Eric and I are very proud of you and the decision you have made before God. We pray for you and will continue to pray for you as you grow more and more in love with our Lord!
We love you so very much... we miss you all! We loved all the birthday cards and little letter trinkets you made Shelbi and Maggie! It was a very special treat to receive on the day of Maggie's birthday party!
