This is the exterior of our house as purchased...


OUR HOUSE....

The paint was a really faded cream color - the previous terra-cotta color was showing through..

We had to add railings for code reasons....

Now, it's a bright buttery yellow with white trim (thanks to Dave's folks - they've done ALL of the exterior painting!!)

We painted the old door a dark red and the bannisters white - to mimick our favorite look of an old farmhouse.

This is definitely an ongoing work in progress. We have done so much - that it's hard to pick pics to show it - plus, they just don't do justice. Hopefully - the one's I've chosen will give you a glimpse into our house journey and we will post more in the future, as we actually COMPLETE projects. :)
