Emily's class had a Science Fair and her project was "How Things Glow In The Dark"



Her case study was petroleum jelly


The phosphors in the jelly absorb the invisible ultraviolet radiation from the black light and converts it into visible light....(see how smart I am now, hee hee)

That is so interesting, Emily! I don't understand it exactly, so you'll have to show us when we visit you this fall. . .Keep up the good work. Bethany, you will be doing these things pretty soon, too!
